In memory of Tyler Babbitt and in association with the Kailee Mills Foundation, advocates for seat belt safety, I�m helping to spread the word for The Tyler Babbitt Memorial Fishing Tournament on May 11, 2019 on Lake Conroe. The tournament will be held at Stowaway Marina.

"We invite all to come out and celebrate the life and memories of our beloved son, Tyler Wayne Babbitt, who we lost in a auto accident just outside Bastrop, Tx on Nov 5, 2018, while he was headed to work"

Tyler was 18 and had just graduated high school.

FYI

I talked with Stow-a-way Marina this morning and the lake is currently up 6", allowable for shutdown is 2.5' so we are staying to plan with the tournament for tomorrow.

Still though, it's unkown what will happen between this post and what rainfall hits the area tonight but as of now we are not canceling.

So please, if you're in the area and were planning on attending then we hope to see you in the morning.

I just want to thank ALL who came out and supported this tournament!

There were a total of 55 teams and lots of good bags weighed in! I believe 30+ lbs won and nearly took 20lbs to finish in the top ten!
