Short story, Live in a very rural setting, no close garages nor mechanics, sometimes a bit of knowledge will HELp!
Have a 2003 GMC, Senoma, 4 cyl, PU... Full charge battery, 3/4 tank of gas. Turn on ignition, dash Battery light shows red. Turn key to, start position, Starter strongly turns engine, will not start after many tries, battery red dash light stays on. ?? Advice ?

Sounds a lot like your crank position sensor went out. Not sure of any way to know for sure without a proper scan tool, unless you just get it and change it.

First things I'd do is check fuel and spark. I don't know specifically about that truck, but I think a bad crank position sensor would throw a CEL. If not, check that too. But I'd start with fuel pump and ignition coil (plus dist cap & rotor if that's what that motor has).

patriot07 , Sure sounds like the thing to do, saying that I guess I'm just losing touch with modern motors, looking at this one. I have absolutely no way in heck to tell how to check either spark or fuel flow into the engine, maybe its just time to say , I just shouldn't try. Thanks

My guess would be the fuel pump, especially if its an electric pump. They won't enable the ignition until it gets enough pressure. There should be a Schrader valve(looks like a tire stem valve) on the fuel line somewhere under the hood. Turn the key on for a few seconds, then turn off, and check to see if fuel comes out, like letting air out of a tire. Be careful as it may spray.

Just replaced my in-tank fuel pump.(04' F150) Do you have an inline fuel filter?

Sorry about the post above, it was meant for another thread. General motors sometimes put the fuel filter under the truck. I would bet your fuel pump quit. You should be able to hear it if someone would stand near the fuel tank while you turn switch to start position and just click the starter and leave key in that position. The pump should run for a few seconds then stop. There also may be a fitting on the fuel rail for checking fuel pressure, usually 5/16" tubing fitting. Pressure should be 25 or more pounds.

At this point we have determined it is a spark problem, Hop, along with TexasLefty's advice came and did a fuel line check, determined it was a electrical prob., now are checking that area.
Thanks guys, your efforts are appreciated.
