If you could choose only one, what is your go-to line for Whites/Hybrids/Stripers?
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!" ― Hunter S. Thompson

I use 30lb braid with either a 20lb flouro leader or a 12lb flouro leader depending on water clarity.

Braid with flouro leader, sensitivity = more fish in boat

I use 15lb braid with either 20 lb mono or fluro leader. More sensitivity and cast farther.

I mainly use 15lb Seaguar Invizx on my baitcaster reels. Seems to cast the best and last forever. Also can't go wrong with 15lb Berkley Big Game for mono.

I use 30-pound braid on my casting/slabbing rods. I want overkill and don't want friends, kids, and inexperienced guests on my boat losing lures and fish and even worse lures stuck in the fish's mouth.
80-pound braid on my vertical live shad rigs with 30 pound mono as leaders....have had much less break offs with cheap mono versus fluoro leaders.
I've used cheap ProCat braid in these sizes from Academy with zero issues. Been using super slick 8 and not sure if it is worth the extra cost....

30 lb Power Pro Slick 8 and 25lb Seaguar abrazx leader. We have caught hundreds of fish this year and the only times I've broken off it was my fault due to a overworked knot or line up against the prop, ect. I am very happy with my set up and I will NEVER go back to mono. Obviously there are people that like it from looking at the poll, but I don't understand why????

I am very happy with my set up and I will NEVER go back to mono. Obviously there are people that like it from looking at the poll, but I don't understand why???? Because if you know what you are doing you can cast farther with mono( look at records) and don't have to worry about line shy fish becoming wary in clear water. Its cheap and its strong. And you can break it if ya have to. And you don't leave dangerous unbreakable line (braid) in the river to get tangled up and drown in current. But I will agree most and your avg fisherman (ME) probably would be able to cast further with braid but then again I balloon fish primarily and only cast when current is flowing hard. Glad its working for you I don't blame you if its working!!
Keep em tight!

I like flouro, but its pricey. I use mono mostly never had an issue or striper break it. I personally hate braided, my choice, I know alot of people love it and thats great. Never saw a need for it.

Used to be die hard mono and when I first tried braid out of curiosity I didn't like it. Once I kept fishing with it I got used to it and found I had better feel and casting, with no stretch, and when you set the hook it was set. I used to have trouble with my spinning reels coiling up especially when they've sat up for a while, and with the braid that is history now. I'm not going to convince anyone, and I don't really care to, but now most of my reels have braid, but it's always your call.
Just one more cast!
