Is there a good mechanic that is trust worthy at PK? I have three carbs that need rebuilding. I did take it to one mechanic that I THOUGHT was a friend and have known him lots of years. He told me the carb job would be $400.00 "Awesome" I told him. I brought the boat in and got a call three weeks later that my motor was froze up and needed a power head and it was going to cost $3,000.00... I took my boat back to my place at PK and put in a new battery and it ran great like it always has.... I just need a freaking carb job, I hate people that try to rip you off! Not going to mention the name, heck nowadays you can get sued for telling the truth! The law is made to protect the @ssholes.

Sandy Creek Marine is what my friend uses. There isn't much in the way of mechanics on P.K.
