I don't recall seeing this subject on the forums anywhere so just wanted to ask.

Does anyone name their bass boat? I can't say that I have ever seen a name on the back of a bass boat? Would we all have better luck if we did??

I have a nameplate for mine, but it's not on the boat.

"The Other Woman"

Results may vary.

I've named all my boats, but never actually put the name on the boat. Current one is Ruby.

Since a lot of guys hit the big 5-0 and get a little crazy for a girlfriend, I gave my wife a choice when I hit 50, a boat or a girlfriend. She was indifferent so I went with a boat and named it Girlfriend. After 12 years it is funny how many people will walk up to me and ask how is Girlfriend!! Especially at church.

I tell them she is better than any woman.....
She follows me everywhere I want to take here.
Doesn't complain when I leave her alone.
Lets me get on and off and in and out as often as I want to.
And she likes everything I buy for her as much as I do.

I have a license plate for her, but keep it in the garage.

I named mine "PJ" (Praise Jesus) and it came from a tournament when the guy checking our fish picked one up that we were nervous about, and he had to flip it all around and finally got it to touch the line and he looked at us and said "Praise Jesus"
