Lew was 58 yesterday almost all over and pretty muddy. Didnt see much fluctuation even in the backs of coves.

57 early, up to 59.9-60 on Athens Saturday. Bucks lurking shallow, no beds and no big females really Shallow.
Same lake as easttexasbassin Sunday...similar temps, though slightly warmer towards late afternoon. You could catch a buck on every cast in 2-3 ft. Caught a few females that were loaded with eggs, but not near beds, or even close. Probably caught around 75-85 fish. Biggest was only 4-1/2 pounds or so. Tons of 2 pounders. Even caught a lake record crappie. 2lbs 8oz. 16-1/4. Took some pics, and threw it back. If you want trophy crappie, I have a spot. Lol. Caught 3 over 2 pounds. No telling what or how many I could have caught, if I was trying to catch them. They typically dont chase bass lures.

She must think that the fish she eats is grown in a factory, and only lets me Fish if its catch and release. Now, if I was a shrimp boat captain, like Forest Gump, Id be golden. That girl likes gulf shrimp! On a water temp bite, Ive been fishing 4 tourneys a week since the time change, and I have yet to even see a bed fish. I had 4 winning sacks, good sacks too, and none have been caught even close to shallow, with exception of today. I caught 3-1/2 to 4 pound bucks all day in the very hacks of coves. So, my guess is its fixing to happen! Water temps were mid to low 60s all last week and today. I really thought that with the full moon Thursday, that Id find em on beds today. But no. None. Unless I stupid-ed across some shallow beds with my wacky rig. Lol.

I don't think I've ever done that good. The closest was 52 fish in one day for 2 people on the boat with all caught in one area about the size of my house. Might have been able to land more if we had 20 poles, all rigged up with the baits we were catching on except my hands were so sore I could barely hold on to one by the end of the day. Whitney temps were 60 - 62 on Friday. Caught some bucks, a couple of spawned out females and a few stripers and sandbass.

4 tourneys a week since the time change. Time change was 2 weeks ago today, so that's 8 tournaments in two weeks with 4 wins. Wow.

Biggest so far was Tuesday, we had around 25 boats. Smallest was yesterday with 5. 3 were in the same lake. Which is the lake I know really well.
