New to lake LEW. when running north of little elm beach is there boating lanes? Looks like heavy stumps. I guess my question is I fish fork a lot and runs the boating lanes because most of the times the stumps are not visible. Is it the same at Lew or are they just standing trees? Definitely don't want to push my luck on a new lake.

Standing trees...no boat lanes. Enter at your own risk. Pretty dangerous up there but warm water temps are worth a nick or two outta the skeg. Not so much widow maker stumps like Fork, Monti, and Welch. Tree poundas up ther, too.

A lot of trees north of that ramp thatll do a lot more damage than a nick in the summer I could run it but now I dont really even chance it up there.
