The crappie are biting great right now. We caught 57 nice fish today. Most on Minnows and some on jigs. These fish were 10-15’ deep in 40’ of water. I tried up on the banks some and only caught 3 bass. And yes I kept them on ice in a cooler.

Help a fellow out. I live about 10 miles or so from 36 bridge. Never really fished for crappie. What/where would I start?

Good job !! Did you catch on any kind of structure or just suspended crappie ?

NICE...bass on the Half Shell? I always keep my bass, if they are legal.

The fish are just suspended. Shade I think is the key for these fish.
