I purchased The Hook 2 Triple Shot and I am having a nightmare..

BPS sold me the Gear Guard with the value if anything is wrong they will either repair or replace..

I have the same issue with the Time and Date not displaying on the Overlay, the same problem with the HDS's.. Lowrance is not recognizing that this a problem yet and has no software fix.. (Per Rob Jasper Lowrance Pro Staff)

I also have a problem with setting the correct time.. It's either 6 Minutes slow or 6 Minutes fast..

The Sonar freezes from time to time and requires a reboot to correct.

I shipped off the unit on 2/20 and have not heard back from anybody.. I have called Gear Guard numerous times to get no update and with the response they will call me back.. (No Call Backs)

I have called BPS and their response is call Gear Guard. (Punt) ( Deflect )-- Horrible attitudes at the customer service desk at BPS.

I'm close to throwing in the Towel on Lowrance and move to either Hummingbird or Garmin. - And I won't be purchasing it at BPS or Cabellas

Any Recommendations? Am I being unreasonable?

Did you send in the unit into Lowrance or did BPS (gear guard)?

BPS Gear Guard.. Horrible Experience.. I called Gear Guard again to escalate to a manager and they told me they don't have one.. I called Charles at BPS Grapevine today who said he was going to call me back at 10:30 am this morning.. It's 1:30 PM now with no call back.. I feel helpless and they have my unit as hostage..

update.. Escalated to BPS and Gear Guard is replacing my unit and throwing an additional $25 dollars on for my trouble.. Horrible experience but at least they are doing the right thing..
