Man I'm trying to decide if that's worse...
The ten minutes after you throw up but before you start feeling awful again are pretty crucial.

What they said but put the patch on the day before and Dramamine the day before. Do not eat anything but saltine crackers and a bit of water before you leave. This helps on the way out. After that you might snack. My lovely bought the watch band thing that is supposed to stop sea sickness, but my son only puked all over his....

3 Dramamine capsules the night before and 2 that morning. The most important thing is to never look away from the horizon for too long. If you find yourself zoning out and getting fixated on your reel, bait etc. look up and watch the horizon. You will be fine.

Update: fishing trip went well. Lucky for me as you can see on the video the water was super slick. Very little waves so I did not need to take any medicine, however somebody on the boat got a bit of a sour stomach and the non-drowsy Dramamine which is basically ginger did the trick. However I would not put a lot of weight in that since the seas were so light. What was wheres was the 100+ degree heat index.
