Yep, ready to mount my 11.6 PB (personal best) on the wall.

Finally got around to framing her up (16x16x2") shadow box style frame.

Added the lure, the line, and the permits.

Won't have to dust her off ever, and, in fact, can still go out and fight her again even... if I get so lucky, she's probably a teener this year! banana

Click Attached File PHOTO to enlarge.

PS Framed her myself, had to get into the framing business back in '83, too much of my own art to display.

Man I really like that idea! I decided not to get a replica of my PB 11.62 this summer for the same reasons listed. But this might just be the ticket!

It's only a good cast if you catch a fish...

I'm still on the fence about getting a replica made. Thinking its a lot of $$$ to hang on the wall in the garage.

Thanks folks.
My previous PB was a 9.4, got her on a Whopper Plopper. Framed the photo of her, the lure, permits etc.. This will look real nice right next to it. Have one framed of my wife fighting her first ever bass, then holding it up (a 2 pounder, she was so proud), and permit and her lure (Storm swimbait, which she named 'Charlie'- women). Great memories.

Hi Mike.
Caught this monster on my namesake lake, Otay Lake, south San Diego (Chula Vista).
As you know, the closest lake to Mexico in California there is (couple of miles).
Thanks to the good Lord, we've had some good rains this year, it's already up some 10',
which in the shallow ends, is a big deal. the frog bite will be outstanding.
Ciao,
MS
