I bought one from m Tackle Warehouse and like it, not sure which one it is. I know when I was looking it extended further than the others. Its paid for itself several times on crankbaits alone. The only thing I dont like about it is the telescoping ones can get sand and dirt in them and they can be hard to extend or retract at times.

I went ahead and got the 18' model that collapses down to around 6' for $46.99. The 3 extra feet come in handy often. I've had the same one for 10years and it paid for itself within the first trip or two. The trick is getting right on top of it with a fairly tight line and 9 out of 10 times you'll get it right out. I've saved a looooot of baits with some I can't replace and can't say enough about it. I only fish out of a couple buddies boats when I'm not in mine and I went ahead and bought them one to keep in the boat as well.

I have the bps model. It's one of very few fishing products that are worth more than what they cost. The hound dog/ plug knocker type retrievers work too, but the pole is far more effective and easier to use. They also work well for retrieving frisbees and balls from trees in the yard. Lol
I do recommend the 18'er.

I bought the longest available from Amazon. Paid for itself and then some! Not only gets the ones I've stuck but I've found a few others have stuck up in trees and couldn't get but I just extend my pole and have free lures! Got one frog and several spinners and cranks people have thrown up in trees and electrical lines!

The only difference between a little girls scream and a warrior's battle cry is the direction your'e running!

I have an 18 foot one, was fishing an A rig on Texoma a couple years ago, got it hung in a brush pile in about 15 feet, used the retriever to get it back, the A rig came back with a 4 pounder attached to it, it was a good day.

I have one & fishing partner has one, they pay for theirselves. Even used to help retrieve a wrapped up fish. One note, make sure the nuts are tight before using, SIL let the lower have of my 1st one slide into the lake, it doesn't float. It helps to keep it clean to make it easier to slide in & out.

Its the only retriever to have. Yes it takes up space, and not always fun to use but works!

My wife got me a money pole from TH Marine for Christmas one year. It extends to 18ft. Works pretty good. Ill be honest though, I use it more as a push pole than anything else.
