I'm looking for Falcon and Falcon only. I'm wondering what the best model rod is for throwing 5xd and 6xd type crankbaits.
thanks in advance.

They also make a deep runner that is 7’3”. Not sure if it comes in all models. I have the Cara deep runner. The new Expert Deep Cranker has same specs but 3” longer.

I'd say Cara Deep Runner. But, I haven't tried the longer models in the new Expert line.

For 5 and 6XDs you want the 7-3” deep runner

I use a composite cranker 2 7’6’ mh. Used to be in the cara reaction series but I beleve it’s gone now. But they have it in the new Lowrider series. You can get it for about $130 I believe. Best rod I’ve used for 6xd/ dd 22 size baits

Man, I am an all falcon rod user but to be honest, they dont make good cranking rods. I ended up getting the quantums for the 5 and 6xd cranks. I have the composite cranked cara but in a 7' model and it will wear you slap out

It's not available in the low rider any longer. That's the problem

To bad you are not considering other brands, because there are some much better CB rods out there than Falcon. The ones I used to use now no longer exist. GOOD LUCK on finding one that fits you. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I picked up this 7' Lowrider, Big Cranker, at Academy last fall. Had never fished a Falcon Rod in my life. Heard so many great things about them and for the price, how could you go wrong with full cork grips. Was throwing a 6 xd on it last Sunday when I caught the one below. 9 lbs 13 oz.
