What depths are the gizzards in right now. Wanting to take my nephew on Tuesday for spring break. It will be cold for a few days, just wanting a depth to start looking for gizzards in.

Pardner, it depends on the fishery, but on a lot of lakes right now especially deeper lakes with this cold front and water temps where they are, 20 to 35 feet is always a great general depth to nail good gizzards in at almost any time of the day. Edges, ledges and holes and always throw on them bottom huggers. And you need good pancake throws now not no tacas lol so remember the bigger and heavier the net, the more you throw and release upwards instead of just outwards... up and out... up and out...

In water 20ft+ plus a tape net works wonders.
