I like the Booyah Clacker in 1/4 and 3/8 oz. sizes. If the water is calm, the 1/4 oz. catches more for me. I use a split-tail trailer.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

This is not a good idea for people with heart condition!

I like the Lunker Lure 1/2 oz black. I also throw it a lot with the Zako. The Zako certainly adds some weight on the cast.

counterstrike from booyah is good, and I don't think the color matters. I like the tri-wing buzzbait when I want to slowly swim through lilly pads. I think the lilly pad bite is best at during the hottest & sunniest part of the day.

I like the old school Lunker Lure buzz baits. I use the 3/8 oz ounce with a gold blade in white, chartruce/white and black. I like to reel it slow with just a plop plop sound from the blade. I crimp the rivet so it does not rotate and hold it out the window of the truck while driving to make the blade squeak on a new one. If I use a 1/4 oz. one I fish it faster than the 3/8 oz one.
