I'll be on the lake 2-3 times a week (sometimes more than that) starting next week. (finally got the boat serviced and started fishing again this past week.) I'm wanting to put together a good group of guys that fish the lake pretty regularly for striper. Being able to share fishing information, stories, and a cold beer from time to time is nice. We did this on Benbrook with a small group of guys a while back when I was in college guiding for blue cat and hybrid a little bit and it worked great! I don't plan on being a guide anymore and I'm sure there are plenty of people who feel the same way.
We started a group chat, met up once a month (sometimes more) and helped each other out.
I like to think of this as like a network that puts our brains and all of our combined time on the water together plus you almost always got a friend on the water when you have to go by yourself.

What are your thoughts on this?

I'm fully prepared for the people who are going to say, "why don't you figure it out yourself". My answer to that is I intend to, and I WILL, but there is nothing wrong with a little help from time to time that all parties can benefit from.

Thanks

Already have a decent size group that has sent me a PM so I have a feeling that this could end up being pretty successful. The more the merrier though. Here in a couple days I’ll form a group chat and we can all start putting our brains together. Anyone and everyone is welcome
God bless

Stick me on your list, I fish for stripers at least once a week and keep a boat at HarborMaster. I'm not a hardcore fisherman and I usually release what I can't eat fresh. Thanks
