When transferring waypoints from Lowrance to Humminbird, how accurate will they be? If I have boat lanes marked with they be safe?

A waypoint is a place on the Earth that is located by GPS----ANY GPS.

Depending on which model Humminbird, the procedure to load Lowrance data to it can be different.
Humminbird Helix units need the data to be in a MATRIX folder to load them. HumminbirdPC will make that file.
Humminbird SOLIX will load the Lowrance data directly.
The Icons may not transfer the same, but the co-ordinates will be the same if the format is the same.
Default for Humminbird waypoints is DD.MM.MMM. When you export use that format or change the Humminbird unit format to match the Lowrance format.

How you export the data from the Lowrance makes a difference also. Use GPX or a usr4 or usr5 format.

Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3,
Helix 10 MEGA DI+ GPS G3N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1

Agreed.

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!
