Without a doubt one of the best crappie mounts I’ve ever seen. Seems like there are a lot out there that just look terrible which has always made me wonder if it is just a difficult mount to pull off. Same thing with bobcats. I’ve had several taxidermists tell me that a bobcat is a tough one to do correctly.

Very nice mount,, beautiful. I think to be a good replica taxidermist as far as fish are concerned, you must be a good airbrush artist, because you buy or make the mold, then paint it. you basically pick the species and size you want and they mail it to you, then you paint it. add the eyes, and you have a fish mount. painting pearl and irridescent colors can be tricky because color mixing can change other colors, so im sure alot of thought goes into the steps to achieve the desired effect. BY FAR .. the best crappie mount I have ever seen. thanks for sharing. If u had took a pic of it in a scoopnet I wouldnt have been able to tell you if it was alive or not.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
