Caught this Opp while Crappie fishing (on a 1/16 oz. Jig) this past Tuesday on Cedar Creek lake. I was hungry for fish and the Crappie weren't cooperating I decided to clean it I was somewhat surprised when I saw the size of the Cats late night snack! I have seen yellow bass, black bass sand bass crappie and even turtles and everything in between in larger cats even a chunk of wood lol.. but this was a mouthful ...The cat weighed around 37 lbs. I couldnt find my accurate scale but that's pretty vlose....
As you can see the "snack" was nearly 13 inches and didnt look like it would have fit in the cats mouth.. Not sure why he was interested in smal jig. Be he made the mistake of heading for open water. Then it was just a matter of time and whither the line would hold up on a bail reel with all the twisting going on.

I saw a huge cat throw up a big crappie recently. 40lb cats eat what they can catch. If I am a big cat I grab by the head and hold its gills closed until it dies. Then swallow!
