 vmax 150 ring location? white mark?

Hey guys went to install new piston rings on a 99 vmax 150 and noticed that one ring has a white mark on it. Is that top or bottom ring? I can't find anything on-line anywhere. there is no different bevels or anything that i can tell. Service manual doesn't say either. thanks.

I would install ring white dot up don't think top are bottom make any difference.

I know what your taking about for normal rings but It's just a mark on the outside of the ring. There is no way to really get them upside down with the way the locator pin is.
So after calling Yamaha tech support it just means standard rings. Not oversized, which they are.
Why the hell the wouldn't mark both rings is beyond me. Lol.
