It was a 10mph North wind day but we still had several quality fish, great food, and lots of fishing fun. The lake has produced 2 over 14lbs already this year and numerous big fish... Fished Don Martin back in the 70s. Fall trip every year. Never failed us. Great trips. Great memories.

My dad used to fish there back in the 50's. Did ya'll drive all the way there? Safe to travel and places to stay ?

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

Yes we drove from Del Rio / Acua its all safe. No hotels but I have access to rental houses 2 minutes from the ramp.. I just returned tonight from fishing today and yesterday. I will post a report w/pictures a bit later here and on my website www.amistadbass.com. We caught some nice fish.. [Linked Image]
