The recent cold & windy weather pattern has kept us off the lake much of the past two weeks. We did manage to get in a mid week trip and two outings on Saturday last week. The Weekday trip was cut short by strong South Winds that chased us off the Lake after a couple of hours, but the Dad/Daughter team still managed enough Blues for a nice fish fry! On Saturday, just the opposite with a cold, drizzly, foggy mid morning start with a brisk NE Wind that lasted almost the entire trip. The Catfish were cooperative and Adam's threesome kept 30 Eaters and my foursome took home 52 Blues & Channels. All fish caught on DK's Blood Punch Bait in timber on the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake. We caught fish from 15'-30' FOW and almost all were hugging the bottom. Such a light bite that you really had to watch that line!
