If so, what do you use?

I make my own with oil, garlic, salt, and coffee.

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

Spray it on. I use it mainly on soft plastics. Never tried it with live bait. I did catch a 7 lb. catfish on a bass jig with worm trailer after spraying this stuff on.

I'd like to know more. What kind of oil? Do you cook it? Mix it?

Not so much an attractant, but Mega Strike covers MY scent on baits.

Found several videos on YouTube on how to do it. Experiment and try your own. It's fun and it has worked. For an extra "garlicky oil", take a head of garlic, peeled and crushed, then fried it on medium low heat until the garlic is brown. Remove the garlic, let the oil cool until it's warm then add the rest of the stuff. Also, when you get down to the last drops of store bought stuff. Mix it in too.

I dont use it for the scent, more for the color. Im not sure if the fish actually smell it as much as they see it first. I believe once they do bite, they get a taste and hold on longer.

It is my understanding that attractants need to be water soluble .... as the oil doesnt disperse in a way that can trigger the fishes sensory organs. The oil based are certainly easier to apply and stick better....but that they are ineffective on fish as the oil is hydrophobic. Just a thought.....maybe somone has proven otherwise. Or these oil attractants have some water base in them as well....

Fish want the real thing. This is why fisherman chum the real thing to bait out a spot to attract fish. Someone has lead you in the wrong direction. My Bio-Tech. that makes my Pure Extracts test the aggressiveness of all salt water and freshwater species on every scent on the market. Nothing works like Pure Extract which contains Sea Salt to preserve it. Night Crawler - Minnow - Crayfish are 1,2,3 on aggressiveness. I also have Craylic for those that like a touch of Garlic Extract mixed with Crayfish.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

Many soft plastics cant hold any scent. Just the topical sticky oil.

Gulp for example is porrous and absorbs.

I have seen some people roll their soft plastics on a wire brush to make perforations that will help hold and slow release the scent attractant.

When i am attracting an area....i use natural real thing.
