Pass. Watching the Cougars basketball game. AAF after that. NBA AllStar game after that. A nap might take place and alcohol will be involved later on.

He'll wreck a dozen cars before 50 laps. He's wrecked cars in both races he's run in. He put Kyle Bush out of one race. Time to retire. I'm picking Chase Elliot.

My daughter and her boyfriend are there in front row. 80s and sunshine - couldnt ask for a better day. Their Christmas gift from me. Of course, living in Tampa gives them some logistical advantages. Im going to be pulling for the old Californians. Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick.
I don't follow NASCAR like I used to. Just don't like it like I did years ago. Maybe it's the Chase format. Maybe it's that all of my favorite drivers have pretty much retired and I don't know who anyone is anymore. But for whatever reason I seldom watch .
But I'll always watch the Daytona 500. Should be exciting!

Daytona is one of my least favorite races, but it is the first of a long season and there are a lot of changes in equipment, drivers, and crew chiefs that should add a little excitement. Nose to tail single file racing just doesnt do it for me.....but it is the 500.

The Truck race was a crash fest, the Xfinity full, so I dont mind having to work today.
