Right, left or one on each side of TM pedal? Interested in where yall have placed yours and why. Thanks!

Wherever you decide, make sure it's away from the trolling motor cord. Sometimes mine would deploy when the cord would bounce on it.

Yep. To the left of the foot pedal. Generally, the down is towards the outside and up on the inner side.

Did you watch MLF today? Evers had a great location. Put a second down switch on your deck in front of your console or near where you step off the deck so you can hit the down switch while landing fish.

Time to order another down button.

I tuck mine up under the trolling motor mount bracket (when TM is stowed) on the left side. This keeps them out of the way and no chance of them being stepped on or the TM cable deploying them, but when the TM is deployed they are in the perfect location near the TM pedal tray. There is still plenty of room under the bracket to use the button while the TM is stowed if needed as well, I have seen a brand new set deployed after hitting a bump on the highway at 75mph, it was not pretty...lol.

I always turn my power off so this does not happen, also started using the covers too.

I wondered who would be the first one to think this was necessary since an MLF guy had it.

I don't think a 3rd one is necessary unless you are fishing the BPT format and fishing in a big hurry. Mine is up front and on the console where I would use them the most.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

Mount an extra up button on the hot foot, just Incase too. Never wanna forget to raise em when hauling butt to the next 1 pounder.
