Hey guys....needing a little advice. Wanting to get into fishing with an underspin, and wanted to know what plastic paddle-tail swimbaits you guys recommend that have the best action? For those who fish an underspin, what brand/size underspins do you use and what size plastic swimbaits do you recommend? What are some "go-to" colors to get started with?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can help me with!

Keitech's are what every paddle tail swim bait is compared to for a reason. Smash tech makes some darn good ones too and are from here in Texas. Most brands will work.

Owner flashy swimmer is great for weedless. 6th sense has a good exposed hook under spin. Just depends where you are throwing it.

White is generally a pretty safe color to go with, I like 'Sight Flash' from Keitech.

I started fishing the 4 poacher jr by SmashTech last week. The action is really good for a small shallow water swimbaits on the Owner flash hooks. Have yet to catch a fish on it but thats more due to fishing conditions. I have no doubt the fish will eat it once the weather stabilizes. Billy Lawson YourLakeForkGiude on YouTube covers some of the Smash Tech baits with the companys owner.

Yum Actually makes some good sizes colors..Im starting to understand how size plays its part. MOST of the better fish i caught last year were on a sexy color and a white trailer..However im still experimenting with other skirts and making my own with strike king jig heads, skirts and different paddle tails..Kytech has real good action and colors. Ive been using the suicide swimbaits some, and trying them as trailers for paddle tails. So far the cheaper ones without detail working better..lolol

I would start simple. The Owner Flashy Swimmer and Keitech Swing Impact Fat work perfectly together and they are weedless. Pair the 4.8 swimbait to the 5/0 hook and the 3.8 to the 3/0 hook. Pro Blue Shiner and Shad are my favorite colors. Very productive presentation. Once you catch a few on this setup, it will stay on your deck. Good luck!
