Can anyone give me an idea of whether or not these 2 rods are of any significant value? They are both in very near-mint condition. [Linked Image]

Several on ebay with asking prices between $30-100 and no bids so doubtful their highly sought after. Either use them or make wall art in your mancave with them.

In their time the Browning Silaflexes were more expensive than the average glass rods. The later series, such as my model 322970, were excellent rods, and about 25% lighter than the preceding series. It is a little funny to me now that these rods are not as esteemed today as some of their competition back in the 50"s, 60's, and early 70's. They don't bring much money on the market today, even one in very good condition. Their real value is as a fishing tool. I picked mine up at a swap meet at a kayak shop for $30. The guy said it probably wouldn't sell because nobody wanted a glass rod today. Since I currently possess about 30 glass rods, I was quite willing to take it off his hands. It is a light weight, powerful and smooth casting tool.
