Black Drum are showing up now. What a great time to get your young'ins out and catch a BIG fish. Cracked crab's are the go-to bait for these suckers. Slot limit is 14-30". BTW, the smaller ones are the best table fare. So get your medium hvy to hvy setups are hang on. These fish do not fight much but I guarantee you they feel like hauling up a wet log !! Stay safe and Take a Kid Fishing. As a reminder 2 Blk Drum Tournies are coming up. The annual Rusty Hook Clubs Tourney is in March..22-24 and the Handicapped Drum Event out of the Galveston Yacht Basin in mid April. Volunteers with boats are always needed to take a handicapped person/s out catching. The Galveston Daily News will provide all the info needed. Stay tuned.

Go get on em.
We are catching oversize and upper slots every day. Cracked crab producing the best bite on the bigger fish. But live shrimp and fresh dead is also producing. Sometimes they want the shrimp peeled.
