You have certainly convinced me! I just decided to keep my HB 999 on the console instead of getting one of the new HB Solix 12" units. I just order the garmin Plus 93SV and will receive it this coming Friday. I have ordered the Live Scope System and will receive it around the 18th of this month.

I have just returned from Home Depot, where I bought the parts to make that mount you use. The only difference is I added a 2' section of 2" pipe. The 2" pipe will have the magnet on it, the 1 1/2 " pipe will side through the 2" pipe so I can rotate it to look in all directions.

It's hard to wait till everything arrives and I get to play with this bad boy.

Not trying to interfere in your post but you do know that BPS has the Garmin on sale for $599.97 starting 2/15.

Thanks for posting. My friend bought the portable ice fishing unit. Can't wait to fish with it.

Good video
It would be hard to have a bad trip with the live scope.
I have been killing them since I added it to my boat

So, I have done some looking. It seems that you must purchase a Garmin head unit separately, that is in addition to the panoptic livescope. A head unit that is compatible. Is that correct? If so, what is the total cost to get this setup, assuming you dont already own any Garmin equipment?

I think bass pro has the garmin unit on sale for around $600 then I believe the transducer is $1500 or so I believe. I have looked into them but cant even come close to finding the money to get one.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

No

If you mess around with the settings Im sure you can get a better picture. I run all my units really hot with lots of power/gain. Therefore they are a little fuzzy or cluttered.

Should be fine in choppy water as long as your not swinging. Keeping the jig in the cone can be difficult if your boats moving.
