This past weeks mild weather had the Lake Fork Bass pushing up in the more Northern Creek arms. On Monday evening trip we marked 55.8 degree surface temp & found biting bass in 6’-8’ of water. No bites on deeper depths. Small swimbaits were the ticket.
By Wednesday afternoon, water temp had reached 62 degrees N of FM 515 & Bass were hitting the obligatory red lipless cranks, White Spinnerbaits next to brush & bladed Jigs over submerged grass. Then this front hit. These patterns should resume shortly.
Good luck & stay safe out there. Here’s the best fish of the trips.
