Putting a new Mercury 200HP four Stroke on my 22' bay boat - I've run several prop calculators and they seem all over the place (15P to 21P) 14.50 to 16 D. Anyone running a similar set up with this motor?

Boat Brand and model will make a lot of difference

I run a 17" Powertech on mine with a 200 Optimax. Boat came with a 19" Michigan Wheel Apollo. I am not sure if piece of carp is the correct terminology for the Michigan but it would lose grip with any kind of turn of the wheel at full trim. The Powertech has been great. I wish I could remember the model. If I were you I would look at a Tempest Plus in a 17 or a 19. I probably should have gone with a Tempest. I did run the Tempest I had on my Ranger. It was not really a fair test because it was a 23. Thinking back on it though as well as the 23 did I should have stuck with the Tempest in a lower pitch.
