That is a long stretch of river. With the river up it shouldn't be too bad. Most of the white bass are gonna be from Gorman falls down river. We are catching a few now about mid way between Lake & Colorado Bend State Park. It may be easier for you to load up your kayak & take it to State Park so your not wasting time paddling to them. It is beautiful scenery & your coming at just the right time that the whites will be biting good. Hope this helps
