I have been thinking about buying one of these with the stripper thump module. I know I can buy a thumper or even build one for a lot less money but with the hydrowave the fish hear it and I don’t have to. I believe that thumping really works when on inactive fish to help turn them on. I just really don’t want to listen to a thumper, so if anyone has any experience I would appreciate you sharing. Thanks

I had one. It does not work nearly as well as a thumper.

You'll have as much luck calling birds with it as you will calling bait. Had one come on the boat I bought, sold it for $75.00. Felt bad for charging for it.

I had one as well as a splasher. I thought that the splasher was way more effective. I sold the hydrowave and built a thumper instead. I feel like a splasher and thumper combination are way more effective.

Well that’s not really what I was wanting to hear but I am definitely glad I asked before spending that much money. Thanks for the replies
