It's only a good cast if you catch a fish...

Does anyone know if they're fixing it up or keeping it private?
Loved that lake, seemed to always fish good.

I would wager that the DBU Bass Team will be using it.

My kid goes to school out there. Maybe he can get some info on what they are planning to do with it.

The president of DBU is a friend of mine. I sent him a message to find out what is going on. Let everyone know what I find out.

Sucks too. That is one bass loaded lake. Absolutely full of 3 pounders.

My buddy talked to the fencing company that did it and said DBU closed it off because there was too much drug activity there. We loved fishing that lake.

So let me get this.... you can take a public lake and completely restrict all the access to it by boat because you purchased the land around the only ramp........ and closed it off...... DBU is prob the only group of people who would see absolutely nothing wrong about this SMH.

Heard from a member of the Bass team that it was due to students using the area for drug use. Of course my source is a student so take that for what it is worth.

They should lock it up at a certain time. Or even have a officer patrol the area?
