Kind of resembles a Plunker popper. But your original would be a handmade knock off.

Did you remove the paint? That's a no no... or so I've heard.

Not entirely, the lure came in contact with some old plastic worms in an old trailer, probably stuck to each other for decades. Thought I would clean it up and do a repaint on it someday.
