When they're short striking a spinnerbait then try a swimbait and an underspin instead. They always go after one of those better if they won't commit to the spinnerbait.

Zoom split tail, Bass pro makes a nice White with blue in it split tail..

None and I live or die by the spinnerbug. Causes short strikes, bass will normally strike at the spinner blades. I will even thin and shorten the skirt.
