Haven't been on this lake in over 20 years. Planning on going on Sunday. Looking for some recent info on the lake. Are both reactors still running? Water temps, clarity etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated TIA

The second reactor is back on line. 2 weeks ago one was running and temp was 64.6 where we fished. Fishing was tough on a cold windy day! 5 fish for 9.85 won. Water clarity varies north to south, with south clearer. Should be warmer and the additional current should make for good fishing. Let us know how you did.

Went today, kind of slow. Mostly fished soft plastics, but did catch a 3 1/2 on a Bandit 200 crankbait. Water temp was 66.

Its fishless
Yep season is over. I agree. The lake is only good dec and Jan. Then, its time to suck it up like a big boy and go throw a jig and a jerk bait on a real lake and catch giants.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Went last week and saw water temps around 70 around the discharge buoys and the dam. We had one over 4 and several in the 3 lb range. The local pros had three stringers over 19 lbs and 90 teams had a limit last Saturday so the season seems to have ended on a high point this year. As far as I have heard the spawn that normally starts in January has not occurred yet so I am going to keep going hoping some more of the deeper fish will come up where I can catch them. Last week we caught 28 fish on Squaw, this weekend fished fished six hours on Granbury without a single fish. This year with the two outages I think Squaw will not get as hot and fish good until May. Clarity is good. Not clear but no mud at all. We caught several on a jerk baits but still feel comfortable with 20 lb line on Texas rig. It is still just rocks and cedar trees with no grass.

well I struggled, first time fishing the lake and it showed. Caught around 15 fish but all where around the 1.5lb range. Nothing to write home about. Fished secondary points and creek channel swings along steep banks. Cant wait for the water in the lakes I know to warm up

Most of our fish yesterday were on moving baits. Spinnerbait was the big winner for the day. Also caught on crank, weightless finesse worms and carolina rigs. Biggest was around 3.5 pounds. Healthier fish were on the warm water side but no skinny fish.
