That's a 2 minute penalty.

If you're catching doubles on a jerkbait you should be throwing the a-rig!

That's a 2 minute penalty. Looks like 4 minute penalty to me.

Cool picture from a few years ago. Caught this nice fatty on a warm winter day with a LC Pointer 100 off some shoreline rocks that had the sun heating them up. I'm not sure I've ever fought a fish longer than that one. Had it on a Loomis CBR 783 and a Curado 100 with #10 Invix. Probably took me several minutes to land the fish. It took me around the boat two or three times. Started to wonder if I might've hooked a big catfish. Just wouldn't give up and was staying down deep the whole time in somewhat murky water so I never got a good look at it until it was right at the surface. That was one fun fight. Only fish I had that afternoon, too.

That's a 2 minute penalty. Looks like 4 minute penalty to me. Double trouble, Quadruple trouble. Good problem to have! Just needs a kicker now for a limit.
Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

This is what you catch in the winter on jerkbaits in San Diego. Decided to beat the bank for about an hour yesterday evening at mission bay. Found this one and a smaller one right before the sun set on the Duo jerkbait. Those are calico bass. Small ones. A trophy is a 8-10 pound fish and a real giant is anything over 11.
