Nope. They still have a long way to go.
On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

I don't think money is the problem. They had all the money before it began. It will be nice when completed. I believe weather has been an issue.

From what I recall they closed it prior to having all of the approvals completed. Hope it's worth the wait.

From what I recall they closed it prior to having all of the approvals completed. Hope it's worth the wait. From the city of Alvarado in September 2018, they said . . . "At this time we are attempting to settle some pricing issues with our contractor following the long delay in funding approval from the Texas Parks & Wildlife. Unfortunately there is a lot more red tape due to this being federal grant money combined with local match. I honestly do not see a quick resolve on this issue. We wish to restart work as soon as possible. However, If we cannot reach agreement with our current contractor we will likely have to rebid the project which will add even further delay."

Aaahhhhh; bureaucracy at it's finest. Always amazing how everyday good people go to work for a gov't agency and in short order everything is about rules and regulations and paperwork. Never a thought about customer service (taxpayer) and whose money is being spent.

Why did they not get all their pea's in a row before closing it... Pure idiots sitting in offices all day drawing a paycheck! That lake is way over rated anyway.

Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone elses.

They go weeks without doing any work. This project should have been done in 3-6 months tops. Been a year and a half. Be surprised if its done by this fall.
