What power /action rod best for crank baits what do you use?

I use the lews custom speed stick cranking series. They have a squarebill rod, a shallow diver, a medium diver, and a deep diver rod.

I use a MH fast action tip for my crankbaits. Depends on if you are going for an all around rod or something specific. I find the Dobyns 705 rod to be a general all around CB rod, maybe a little heavy for throwing 3/16 oz baits, but it will work. My BEST overall CB rod, back when I could only buy one, was a St. Croix Avid CB rod 7'6" long. It would handle all the CBs I threw on it. They had a Premier rod back then about the same way, but it was 7' on 7'6". Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
