Thanks Curtis and CHAMPION FISH for the replies! Curtis: I do not know about catching more records but I would have caught a lot more BIG FISH if not for the flooding! Water bodies are in great shape and this upcoming spring should be a GREAT one for catching some BIG FISH!

Totally agree about this upcoming spring. This past fall and winter rain is really making some very difficult fishing on the river lakes and the trout stockings. The ground is super saturated causing a lot of runoff. Like you have side. "Love the rain but hate the flooding".



Side Note: I think we should not use the "Banana Rain Dance" for awhile!

I totally agree for not using the "Banana Dance" for awhile. Let's use the Chicken Dance.

Nice fish and congratulations guys on your records. I got a feeling that if the fall floods did not occur there would have been a lot more record fish. What is your take on 2019 as far as BIG and RECORD sunfish being caught?

Thanks Gitter for the reply. You are right. If not for the major flooding that had occurred this past fall there would have been more big,record fish caught. As for 2019. This should be a GREAT sunfish year,providing that there is no major flooding.

Let's hope for the rain but not the flooding. We have seen enough flooding hopefully for a long time to come.
