Does anyone else think it is a coincidence that these younger offensive minded coaches who are having sudden success all learned to call plays and play the game the same way? They are from the video game era. They learned on Madden. Just a thought that crossed my mind as I was watching the NFC game today. Watching the Rams is almost like watching a great Madden player play. Have any of these young coaches said they learned to call plays playing video games? No not necessarily. Just an observation. Almost anyone that is not an Old will understand what I am saying. McVay 32, Kyle Shanahan 39, Matt LaFleur 39. Guaranteed they all played hours upon hours of this game and can somewhat credit it to how they think the game should be called in a lot of different circumstances

I didnt agree or disagree. I just asked if any of the young coaches said they learned to call plays via Madden. Im not saying youre wrong, I just hadnt seen any of them say anything about video games.
