Wesley Matthews, Mavericks: The former Blazer was previously a tough sell to opposing teams early in his four-year, $70 million deal. Matthews largely disappointed in Dallas, making his $17 million a negative trade asset. Now an expiring contract, Matthews plus draft capitalor perhaps second-year point guard Dennis Smith if Dallas decides to move himcould land the Mavericks a quality piece in their push for the playoffs. The Mavs could use another perimeter presence or added beef in the interior. Orlando could see Smith as its point guard of the future. Perhaps Matthews is the conduit for a deal, landing Aaron Gordon or Nikola Vucevic for Smith and Matthewss expiring deal.

Spurs' R. C. Buford and Coach Pop are in talks with Mark Cuban to trade Quincy Pondexter and a 2021 6th round pick for Luka Doncic and the Mavs Cheerleaders. Word on the street is Cube's is demanding Spurs Jesus be thrown in and 30% Ownership of Spurs Championships.

The Mav's are not playoff contenders. Pretty sad last few weeks. Except for Luka and Maxi.

Too much pressure on Luke. As good as he is they need another shooter to open things up for him. That or a big man with a short range jump shot and muscle. They rely too much on the lob and dunk which everyone knows by now and causes a lot of turnovers. One more piece and they're contenders to get into the playoffs.

They have Broekhoff who is suppose to be on the roster because of his shooting ability, so why not spot sub him when they're not hitting?
