Are you talking about Welch Lake? Seems to be a private lake north of Comanche.

Are you talking the power plant Lake Welsh by Pittsburg, Tx. If so, first info is Welsh.

Caught a few last week on Carolina rig in about 15' water and a few on jerkbaits.

Water temps vary a ton. Late December when I was on, it was 89 coming out of the discharge and 55 at the north end. What they bite varies a lot. Sometimes they won't hit a moving bait worth [censored] and sometimes they'll pound it. Gotta vary and don't stay on anything too long. If they're going to bite it you'll know pretty quick.

Was there today and was real crowded. Water temp was 64-71 and looked like the lake level had dropped a foot since last week. Still catching them on a drop shot/finesse worm in 12-15 FOW.
