Thinking of buying a 18 Triton TRX 20......Looks like a good boat but would appreciate thoughts of those who own one or have ridden in one. Thanks

I would be worried they are the next brand to phased out by Bass Pro, I would go with a non-Johnny Morris brand but thats just me.

They arent going anywhere. It will be a great boat for you. I ran my 2017 TRX all over Amistad last weekend in basically the same wind that got the tourney out there this weekend cancelled. Great ride, great fit and finish and still pretty darn fast. My has the 250 SHO and I have seen 77.7 very lightly loaded.

I would be worried they are the next brand to phased out by Bass Pro, I would go with a non-Johnny Morris brand but thats just me. That is a load of BS.

i really doubt they would be phased out because they have had great sales numbers over the years the reason legend was dropped was low sales numbers an have of the boats that were built were team boats.

Could be wrong but Champion was done before JM, besides sales werent spectacular anyways. People that had Champs never got rid of them.

Then Genmar went under and got gobbled up by Platinum Equities along with Ranger. Some moron at PE thought it would be a good idea to merge Champion and Stratos as one. Neither Champion or Stratos owners thought this was a good idea. Sales bottomed out and ended both.

Triton fits in the boat line up for JM. Ranger the premium brand, Triton the middle tier, and nitro the best value brand. He has all tiers of the market covered then
