Finally got a couple days off and wanted to check out Glimer lake. Anyone fished this lake lately? Looking for any advice before heading out in the morning.

Bridge right by ramp is good place to start first thing. I would idle only if you do not not where to run, the lake is small and basically 60% of it you cant run.

Was there last week before the rain came . Struggled at first , couldnt buy a bite . We went south of the bridge and stayed in the creek and started throwing weightless sinkos near wood and grass and picked up some pretty good ones . Just had to fish it painfully slow

Caught 3 pretty good fish before the front come through this week. The largest was about 5lbs. Wasn't a total for the first trip
