Last few times I went out, all I caught was a headache. I've tried from 380 to below the dam.

Lavon is my home Lake but it has been hard to get on to with all the high water. Currently, I believe there are only two ramps open, Collin Marina and Mallard Park. I'm gonna try it tomorrow, I will report back.

Worked the water from 9:30am to 12:30 and got skunked. We couldn't even lose bait. we were drifting in main body 30-35 foot of water. I should have paid attention to the Catfish Calendar.. .

I have been fishing Lavon and have not been able to get any bites for a while now. Was at highlands on Saturday only saw 2 fish on the finder. Otherwise seeing fish but can not get them to bite. Over the past couple of weeks, had 2 bites and neither took the hook.

I'll be headed there pretty soon, but I can only bank fish. I got some Stubbys that I'd like to try. This latest rain won't help my cause...I need that lake level down to about 490, currently 492.6 and I'm sure will rise a lot over the next few days.

I tried Highlands, Colin Park, Mallard and South of Lavonia.
Curious if they should be shallow/deep or in creeks, over grass, in timber, ... Have tried everything but creeks and over grass wherever you would find that on Lavon.

I always like the out of the way places , if you can find moving water they should be there no matter what the temps

Stoneman2, thanks for the input.
Those places are a good paddle in my kayak, I can really only go there on the weekends. I don't mind being out on the lake after dark, it is actually my favorite time, but do not want to be too far " out of the way" or up one of the creeks after dark.
