I like my Ram 1500

Seriously, here in the rural areas there seem to be a lot of Rams working, go back into town and lots of Fords and Chevys.

This really ticks me off, I just bought a 2019 GMC Denali 1500, had I known I would have done the same thing.

I was going to buy the 2019 GMC Denali, I actually waited for it to come out. The tailgate ruined it when I found out you had to remove the receiver hitch to lower the tailgate. The Longhorn Laramie is so much nicer on the interior than the Denali that there really is no comparison. My GMC that I drove had 278000 miles on it so I know it is a good truck...I will find out how this Dodge holds up with my fingers crossed.

Does it have that trailer backup assist feature?

My Ford FX4 does and Pee Wee Herman could back a boat in the water with it.

I always suspected Pee Wee Herman was a Ford guy! roflmao

Not sure about that tailgate thing, I do not have a receiver hitch on mine right now but I do not see having to remove it to drop the tailgate down, really does not matter to me because I will probably never use 5 of the 6 options that the tailgate has.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

I'm in the same boat. Started my search for a new truck open to pretty much any brand and it's becoming painfully obvious you either buy a Ford or pay through the nose for what you need and pray it doesn't break. I own a Dodge now and I love the darn thing and a lot of the major issues I have had are completely my fault, but all the little issues that add up to big money are just wearing me out! It's amazing how cheap some of the components on these trucks are! I know Ford has their issues as well, but from my perspective, everyone around me either has a Ford or wants one... The brand new stuff may be a different story, but the 2 or 3-year-old stuff I've been researching is all pointing me towards a Ford.

I'm enjoying mine. 2019 Ram 4x4 Limited. Talk about creature comforts while still pulling the boat just fine, this truck has it. Best riding truck I think I've ever been in. I never really liked Dodge, but I like this one.

LOL, I bet there are going to be some pissed off owners, I am going to start looking for the new 2019's and see how many of them have a boogie on top of the tail gate, I suspect there will be several. Glad I will never use that function because I would be one of the first, lol.

so I guess you want to pay less now and more later. Not to mention the trade value when you do. I would rather pay a little more upfront knowing I can get it rather than pay for repairs.

I am 100 % GM and have been since about 1980, that is the stupidest thing I ever seen, why in the world do we need a 6 function tail gate ? It is as stupid as that commercial they made with all the dudes carrying tailgates.
