The team was coached just fine. They just got beat by a superior team. Rams were to much for cowboys defense . Maybe next year. J D

Outperformed expectations for sure but also didnt play to standards tonight which is the frustration with this team. Getting beat by better team isnt bad but not showing up and getting beat is the kicker! IMHO way off base they simply got beat by a better team. The Colts did not show up today the Cowboys got beat up especially the defense but they at least made a game out of it. Wrong! Better team yes but defense was key all year and didnt show up tonight! Period! Also if you dont agree they were outcoached which is absolutely no surprise to me your crazy!

Sometimes you just get beat. let me see you are passing like a champ, and get a short yardage play in the 2nd half and you decide to run on 4th an 1. stupid decision. Yes sometimes you get beat, but don't beat yourself...............

J D We were very much out coached......coaching and WILL from a better prepared game plan is what beat them tonight. Our D was on its heels from the first series on. Hats off to them, they played well

I've always thought that the Bye week was worth 7-10 points. Hard to win against a team with the bye week.

J D Yep... some folks just don't understand how hard it is to win it all and let their personal feelings cloud their judgement. I would hate to go through life like that. Might have been a totally different outcome if the game had been played in Dallas.. Good season Cowboys.

Incredible turn around after the first half of the season. The Cooper trade and promotion of Colombo made a huge difference. The offense also got more aggressive as the season went on. The team played with a chip on their shoulders the second half the season. The negative talk on the sports networks and social media played a role in that. They set out to prove everyone wrong. It was they're wake up call. It's a really solid young nucleus. And I believe they are in decent shape cap wise. Garrett isn't leaving. May as well get over that. I'm still not a fan of Linehan and Moore. But I've accepted Garrett is staying for years to come. I'm really hoping Richard stays, but understand if he leaves. Hoping Jerry shells out whatever it takes to keep him. If they address the safety position and line, they will fix the two biggest problems on the field. Search far and wide for an OC not named Scott Linehan. One that isn't predictable in his play calling. Address those issues with the talent already in place, and they will take the next step.
The Rams are a great team. Loaded with some of the best players in the league. McVay is arguably the best young coach out there. I'll be jumping on the Rams bandwagon the rest of the playoffs. Malcolm Brown is a friend of my son. So of course I have to root for the home town kids team. Even though with Anderson playing lights out. Malcolm may not see the field the rest of the way. Not sure what his injury is either. Need to look it up.
All in all. Disappointed in the loss. Happy and optimistic with the way they played in the second half of the season. If you look at the big picture with the teams in Texas. Pro and college. It was a solid year. Fun to watch. The future is bright for the four Texas teams that really matter. Cowboys, Texans, Longhorns, and Aggies all look good for the foreseeable future. Can't remember when that has happened. Texas teams have been dumpster fires for a minute now.

12 weeks ago no way I would believed we would be in 2nd round of playoffs. You got beat by a pretty good team, so chin up. Nice season, and you're a very young team with a lot of potential. Totally Agree! They were also a lot of fun to watch!

Totally Agree! They were also a lot of fun to watch! Yep, they could have folded up shop back then and licked their wounds. Instead they fought on and won the East and won in the playoffs until meeting a superior team. I think it hardened this team and gave Dak and the rest of the young guys hope for the coming season. My daughter is a huge Cowboys fan, (thanks to her dad) and she often scolds me when I say negative things, but she knows I'm just a grumpy old man.

As I look back at their games, I wonder how they made it this far. That was an ugly season with Lady Luck on their side.

They absolutely had some luck, but they fought on and made a lot of that luck happen! They have nothing to be ashamed of, that's for sure when there were a lot of teams sitting at home watching and wishing they were there, doing what the Cowboys were doing.
