I currently run the LSS2/skimmer, but am thinking of changing to the totalscan. Any pro or cons with either on. I am running an HDS 9 Gen 3.

Thanks

I have an HDS 9 G3 with Totalscan on the TM. Previously had an HDS 8 G1 on the bow with LSS1 using the TM skimmer. When I upgraded, I didn't see any difference in quality, which allowed me to get rid of one of the two LSS-1s on board. I still have a LSS-1 for the HDS 10 G2 at the console. If you're getting good images now, I wouldn't change just to be changing. Be aware, the TS is long.
